4 Way Bypass

They did get some circulation back, but his ankles and toes were turning black and I guess they would’ve ended up having to amputate eventually…..the doctor kind of wrote him off I guess

An Interview with Mitchell Whitman

Mitchell and his wife, Elsie, were kind enough to grant us an interview concerning his experience with vitamin and herbal therapy using the products and nutritional counseling services of Daniel Chapter One.

What originally brought you to Daniel Chapter One?

“Mitchell had a 4 way bypass about 3 years ago,” Elsie began, “and he was on all kinds of medications: coumadin, heart pills, and blood pressure pills.  His ankles were turning black, and we were getting really nervous because the blood wasn’t getting down there to his feet where it should be.  I heard Jim and Trish on the radio talking about this place, Daniel Chapter One, and about alternative medicines, and I told Mitchell about it.    We came down here and Jim and Jay went over everything and suggested that he try taking certain herbs.  Mitchell eliminated all his medications himself.”

“I decided to do that,” Mitchell emphasized, “I gave up all the different types of medications and just started taking the herbs that Jim and Jay told me about.”

“We were kind of nervous, because we didn’t know what would happen.” Elsie continued. “But we figured we had nothing to lose because he was just getting worse.  Anyway, within maybe 3 or 4 weeks, his ankles started to get better! They weren’t as black, and now, a year later, they’re practically normal.  That was from the Butcher’s Broom, I think…..I think that was what opened up the circulation.”

“These herbs have really, really helped me.” Mitchell confirmed.

“All we can say is that it’s really worked.” Elsie agreed.

“I made an appointment with my doctor,” Mitchell went on, “the one who had said that I needed the bypass.  When he found out that I was no longer taking coumadin, he got really upset.  He told me I needed it, and he had the nurse give me a blood test to see how much of it I should be taking.  But when the test came back, he said I DIDN’T NEED TO TAKE ANY!!  The doctor was very surprised, but I wasn’t!” Mitchell smiled.

“The doctor was quite upset to think he had gone off his medication.” Elsie added. “He said these herbs weren’t approved and that people just prescribe them and I said ‘Not where we’re going, these people really know what they are talking about.  They’re not out there to make money, and they don’t really prescribe anything anyway, they leave that up to you.’ You know that Mitchell had a stroke besides the 4 way bypass, and that’s kind of messed his memory up, but other than that, he’s fine.”

“My memory has been radically affected,” Mitchell agreed, “but I think that all the herbs I’ve been taking have helped my memory too, especially the Ginkgo Biloba.  I’m 100% better than I was.”

“You know, after the surgery, he just wasn’t doing very well.” Elsie went on, “Even his voice was weak.  Mostly we were worried about his legs, because he was in the hospital for 2-3 months, then on medications for 2 years.  This is the leg they took the vein out of; for some reason, the other leg wasn’t getting any blood, and they were talking about taking it off, which was the worst day of my life!  But they didn’t, thank God!!  They did get some circulation back, but his ankles and toes were turning black and I guess they would’ve ended up having to amputate eventually…..the doctor kind of wrote him off I guess; he didn’t make any appointments for him anymore; he said that herbs didn’t have the backing that medications have.”

“But I know that herbs work!” Mitchell affirmed. “It’s been proven to me that they do.”
